| Finally a Bubble of fresh air! Citroen makes a strong symphatic wind blow on the Paris Motor Show. We are far from the streamlined or ultra futuristic bodies from the concepts that you can see all around. The Berlingo Bulle is round... like a bubble. These forms are translated also in the cockpit by providing space, in particular into height. Seated in the back, you'll notice that the space for the legs is considerable. Citroen started from the traditional base of the Berlingo, modified the back into a "berline". Better than the monospace of the standard Scénic. Of course inside there is no modularity. The back seats are not separate, neither can they advance nor move back independently. Of course the seatbacks cannot be folded back to create a flat floor. Of course... , on the other hand the Bulle concept has space to sell and perhaps more than the Mégane Scénic. Second asset: doors! There are five doors and this is much better than in all the other forms of the Berlingo. Finally one can be installed on the back bench without undergoing acrobatics. The trunk remains gigantic since it offers 500 liters under the shelf. The Bulle benefits from an engine of 1761 cc developing 103 HP at 6000 rpm. Hopefullly the mark with the double chevrons will bring this vehicle into production this sympathetic and practical car that was imagined in its Velizy center and manufactured by Heuliez in Torino. |
