Small/Economy
These cars offer better performance and comfort while remaining relatively small and easy to park. Great fuel economy and a concealed trunk area make these the most inexpensive choice for any highway driving, but you're still not going to make great speed.
The Citroen AX, comparable to the
Peugeot 106, is available in both 2 and 4-door versions, as well as with
an economical diesel engine.
The all-new Citroen Saxo
offers excellent ergonomics and room for its size. Slightly larger than
the Peugeot 106 and the Citroen AX, the Saxo, like all Citroens, is characterized
by its superb suspension and steering.
Medium Cars
Decent room for four passengers and improved ride/handling make these a better choice for serious driving.
From the Peugeot-Citroen Group comes the top-rated Citroen ZX, one of the most popular cars in its class. Midsize
These cars are roughly comparable to American midsize cars, although European cars favor engineering over gadgetry. Superior room for four passengers, with room enough for a fifth, preferably a child.
The Citroen Xantia follows in the footsteps of the luxury XM, sharing the low, aerodynamic shape and unique hydropneumatic suspension standard on larger Citroen designs. The Xantia has exceptional seats and l egroom, making it one of the best cars in its class for long distance driving. Air conditioning available. Interior comfort is on a par with a Nissan Maxima and Toyota Camry.

These will easily move five happy people, or four in top comfort.
